Introduction
I like Marie-Claire Pajeile’s paintings
First of all, it is a child’s dream, the memories of a bygone time. Her characters move, anonymous and ordinary, in a simple and contemporary life.
Asexuals human forms, seem happy with their condition, satisfied with the world around them. These are strong and colourful pictures which reveal the permanency of our state.
The world goes its own way, changes. Men remain the same. Their symbolism vary little. Marie- Claire Pajeile’s characters, always on the move, are immediately recognizable. They are timeless. They walk past, look in, ironical and distant. Their role is to be witnesses. Marie- Claire Pajeile is essentially an international woman. She perceives the world as an entity, as most of her work shows. She brings out light from obscurity. The image she suggests is that which we are looking for ourselves.
The canvass, the focus of perfect interactions of harmonious encounters, becomes emptiness and plenitude.

I´m an black-and-white artist and a painter. I´m working very much with portrait and landscape.
Landscapes with the wide open spaces I prefer. I have many times travelled in Iceland and The Faroe Islands - and the Westcoast in Denmark. But especiel Iceland. There the landscape is very different and with much
power. There it can be very quiet and with long distance out in the world, it´s a place, where thoughts and poetry can appear. I feel it empty and full at the same time.
